One of the perks of being a wedding photographer is that I get to travel all over the country. I grew up in Birmingham, and studied not far from Moxhull Hall in Sutton Coldfield. I head back that way to see my family every couple of months in Birmingham. The West Midlands has a fantastic mix of cities and countryside, and all varieties of wedding venue, but Moxhull Hall is one of the most elegant I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a wedding in. When Dan and Clare asked me to photograph their wedding there, I jumped a the chance!

The day went something like this...

I started the day in Acocks Green with Dan and the boys whilst my 2nd shooter Bee hung out at Moxhull Hall with Clare and the girls.

Moxhull Hall, Birmingham

Moxhull Hall is a beautiful Victorian building set in eight acres of land in Coldfield and has recently undergone a major refurbishment.

After the ceremony it briefly stopped raining so we popped out for some portraits in the grounds

After the portraits it was time for the speeches.

Once the speeches were out of the way, and everyone who was well fed, we moved into the semi-permanent marquee structure that is erected for wedding season at Moxhull Hall for dancing and merriment!
